Gerardo Girón, Undersecretary of Territorial Articulation, visited the Territorial Agency (TA) Lomas de Zamora to carry out the presentation of its new Chief, Miguel Ángel Briscas.
Girón and Briscas held a meeting with Diego Paso, outgoing Chief of the TA, and spoke with representatives of the Lomas de Zamora Regional CGT, Almirante Brown, President Perón, and San Vicente; and with authorities from the National University of Lomas de Zamora.
On behalf of the Regional CGT, the meeting was attended by Alejandro Brandán, from the Argentine Railway Union; Sebastián Leporace, from the Union of Workers, Employees of Gas Stations and GNC, Garages, Parking Beaches and Laundry (SOESGyPE); Marcelo Yanni, from the Argentine Union of Variety Artists (UADAV); Rubén Crosta, from the Trade and Services Employees Union; Carlos Fernández, from the Health Union; Carlos Almería, from the Construction Workers Union of the Argentine Republic (UOCRA); Horacio Gerez, from the Footwear Industry Workers’ Union; and Roberto Seneca and Rodrigo López Merino, from the Association of Teachers and Researchers of the National University of Lomas de Zamora (ADIULZA). On behalf of the University, the Vice-rector Horacio Gegunde and the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Gustavo Naon were present.
After the meeting, Girón, Briscas and Paso held a virtual meeting with the workers of the TA, which, as a result of the pandemic, only has minimal face guards. During the talk, the Undersecretary thanked the staff for the work carried out during the year and stated: “they have allowed the Ministry to sustain itself and to continue accompanying each Argentine and each Argentine who needed the State.
