Coronavirus Deaths Rise to 136,917 in Mexico; there are one million 571,901 cases

The Ministry of Health reported this Wednesday that there are already 136,917 people killed by the new coronavirus SARS-COV-2 in Mexico.

In addition, the confirmed cases amounted to 1,571,901, explained Ricardo Cortés, general director of Health Promotion.

Meanwhile, estimated active cases of the COVID-19 disease rose to 98,700.

Hypertension, obesity and diabetes are, respectively, the first three diseases associated with deaths from coronavirus.

All entities in the country have, so far, availability of both general hospital beds and ventilators.

The confirmed cases in the world are 92 million 264 thousand 451, according to Johns Hopkins University.
