AMLO was given “other data” of the blackout

The issue of the blackout last #Monday afternoon leaves more questions than answers. They assure us that yesterday morning the president #Andrés #Manuel López #Obrador #He assured that this incident would not be repeated, he asked to have confidence in the #Federal #Electricity #Commission (CFE). #But they tell us that it is difficult to be confident when the versions and the numbers do not check. They show us that the federal president explained that the blackout had affected 12 entities. #However, citizens of 21 states reported having had power failures. #Could it be that #President López #Obrador was given other information or that someone was “wrong” and informed the federal #Executive that there were only 12 states affected? #This time, they tell us, the #President did have other data, apparently not the correct ones.

#And while tunnel lights disappear

#Amid the chaos caused by #Monday’s blackout, we are told that personnel in white vans with telescopic ladders removed and took dozens of luminaires that are part of the public lighting of at least 10 vehicle tunnels, leaving motorists in the dark, who in social networks complained about the risk to road safety implied by the lack of lighting on these roads. #Some people in networks pointed out that the trucks belonged to the #Federal #Electricity #Commission. The affected vehicular tunnels are located on busy roads, such as #Paseo de la #Reforma, #Periférico and #Conscripto, among others. #Users pointed out that just as the blackout last #Monday was being resolved, workers arrived in vans and took the lights away. There are several questions about this fact. #What did the blackout have to do with the removal of the lights? #When will they return? #Is it a technical maneuver or theft of lights?

#Edil gives away his photo and some food

#As a bad joke for #April #Fools’ #Day, they tell us, is how some #Potosinos received the pantries that the licensed mayor of #San #Luis #Potosí, #Xavier #Nava, distributed. They tell us that the plastic bags featured a 2021 calendar with the photograph of #Don #Xavier, but that the products were very few, including salt, #Valentina sauce and crackers. They tell us that this is the way in which the PAN candidate for governor of the state seeks to win over citizens. #Some say that the calendar paper and the photo were more expensive than the food in the pantry.

#Rudder stroke in public safety

They assure us that within the federal security cabinet there are more and more versions of the departure of various officials in charge of fighting insecurity and crime. They tell us that the #Secretariat for #Security and #Citizen #Protection is preparing several movements for #January. They explain that the new secretary, #Rosa #Icela #Rodriguez, seeks that the federal agency has in addition to its punitive functions, a more social vision to achieve lower crime rates. 2021 should be, they say, the year in which strong progress is made on the issue of security, an area in which the president himself #Andrés #Manuel López #Obrador has accepted that there is a pending with the citizens.
