#AstraZeneca shares were up 1.3% in #London. The #British pharmacist said the authorization was for a two-dose regimen and that the vaccine had been approved for emergency use at a time when the #United #Kingdom was battling a highly contagious new variant of the virus.

#Turnover was low in most markets in the region, with many investors absent for the end of the year holidays.
