#For its part, the agency EFE reported that the private sector in #Mexico has already begun talks with #Pfizer to market its vaccine in the country as of mid-year, despite the fact that the formula is not distributed to private hands anywhere in the world, confirmed this #Tuesday the president of the #National #Union of #Pharmacy #Entrepreneurs (#Unefarm), #Juvenal #Becerra.

“They told us that more or less in #June or #July we could sit down to talk (talk) about when the vaccine could be available for private initiative,” #Becerra revealed in a telephone interview with #Efe.

#Last weekend a controversy broke out in #Mexico on social networks, mainly on #Twitter, about the possibility that #Mexicans would agree to buy the vaccine personally and privately against COVID-19, which countries are beginning to implement slowly.

#On #Sunday afternoon, through a video, the president of #Mexico, #Andrés #Manuel López #Obrador, said that he would have no objection to the private initiative being able to buy vaccines abroad to be able to sell them in #Mexico, a position he reiterated on #Monday.

#However, this #Tuesday, with the controversy still alive, he asked “#Nobody skip the line” of the plan drawn up by the #Executive, which expects to have vaccinated practically all health personnel by the end of #January.

#Once the toilets have been vaccinated, #Mexico wants to immunize the rest of the population between #February 2021 and #March 2022 free of charge and gradual, according to age and chronic diseases.
