Aachener Weiher in Cologne: Attempted rape?

On the night of Sunday, a young woman at the Aachen pond was apparently sexually coerced by a group of young men. Cologne police are looking for witnesses and the alleged victim. Only on Friday evening there had been an attack by a group of men at the Aachener Weiher (read more here).

According to initial findings, witnesses were alerted to loud screams from a bush at the Aachen pond at around 0.15 a.m. There, they say they have seen five to six men, aged 20-25, who are aged between 20 and 25, who have detained an 18-year-old woman.

The victim was then ripped off her sweatshirt jacket and T-shirt. An 18-year-old man, about 1.85 metres tall, is said to have been lying on the ground and held by his arms and legs.

After the witnesses came to this, the muscular attackers are said to have let go of the couple and ran away towards Aachener Straße. The woman is described as about 6ft tall and blond.
