This July 29 continues the celebration to the homeland. Despite the pandemic, various Latin American artists come together to celebrate the 199th anniversary of a free and independent Peru.
It’s about the concert “Latin America sings to Peru”, Which will take place at 7:30 pm on Wednesday July 29. It will be through Carmen Gutierrez’s Facebook Live platform.

The happy initiative to sing to the country comes from the singer-songwriter and music producer, Carmen Gutierrez, who invited musicians from various countries of the “big country” to pay tribute to Peru for its national anniversary.
Music transcends borders and once again is concretized in this collaborative project, in the voices of various Peruvian and Latin American singers, who will share emblematic compositions of the Peruvian repertoire in tribute to their vast cultural wealth.
“Our music travels the world through the senses and emotions; recognizing ourselves in it unites us and integrates us with those who see us as a country with a cultural multiplicity ”, he points out Carmen Gutierrez.
The beginning of the concert will be given by the soprano from Cusco, Gladis Huaman, who will interpret with the power and cadence of her voice the national anthem of Peru in the language of the Incas, Quechua, or runasimi, accompanied by the young pianist Kherson Flores. The soprano is part of Sopranos Inkas, in addition to being a music and singing teacher at the Leandro Alvina Miranda Higher Institute of Music, in Cusco.
After the interpretation of the national anthem by the soprano, 17 outstanding artists from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Bolivia and Peru will participate.
The participating artists are: Mario Cabrera (Argentina), Claudia Mena (Chile), Walter Benavides (Colombia), Jessenia Cero and Hugo Zavala (Ecuador), Anastasia Sonaranda (Mexico), Sofia Rulloni and Juan Carlos Laguna (Argentina / Mexico), Paqari ayar (Bolivia).
And the Peruvian artists who will participate in this concert in honor of the homeland are: Diego Varillas, Olga Milla and Edmundo Vargas, Emerson Rodriguez of the Renacer group, Yessica Sanchez, Rolando Carrasco, Dolly Principe, and the Cusco soprano coloratura, Gladis Huaman.
The organizer of this great virtual show, Carmen Gutierrez, will give viewers something special in the company of their children, who carry the musical vein of the mother and create and compose music from home, in addition to being their technical team and support in their musical project.
