Two detachments of militants up to 250 people attacked the positions of the Syrian troops in Idlib, the attack was repelled.
“Around 9:30 on July 10, two detachments of militants of illegal armed groups totaling up to 250 people from the area of Zaitundzhik settlement attacked the positions of government troops in the direction of Shamshuran – Kara-Jages (Idlib province),” RIA Novosti quotes the head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation warring parties in Syria Rear Admiral Alexander Shcherbitsky.
He noted that the Syrian military repulsed the attack, neutralizing eight militants. It is noted that there are no losses among the Syrian soldiers.
Shcherbitsky said on July 10 that militants fired on settlements in three Syrian provinces.
