Royal Air Maroc program 125 flights

As announced a few days ago, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) began its special flight program on Wednesday. The first flight was launched from Mohammed V airport in Casablanca to Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.

On board this first inaugural flight, there were MREs, foreigners residing in Morocco, Moroccan students enrolled in foreign universities and many other citizens who travel for health reasons. According to director of operations Sol at RAM, Abdelaziz Rayes, “the airlift launched by the national company and which will link Morocco to several countries, aims to allow members of the Moroccan community established abroad to return home to annual vacations ”.

In total “25 return flights have been scheduled so far” said for his part the director of the airport Mohammed V. Abdelhak Mazoura explained that for reasons of health security, the airport “initiated early an series of preventive measures against the coronavirus, and which are in accordance with those recommended by the Ministry of Health and the Civil Aviation Organization ”.

The wearing of a mask is compulsory on all flights and only handbags and bags for children and computers are allowed on board as cabin baggage. It should also be noted that all health security measures are followed to the letter during the boarding operation, specifies RAM.
