The match between Difaa El Jadida (DHJ) and Raja de Casablanca (RCA) on January 7, on behalf of the 9th day of Botola Pro D1 football, will be rescheduled for July 27, said on Saturday the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
The Central Disciplinary Commission has decided to reschedule the meeting, which did not take place because the visiting club (RCA) did not arrive at the El Abdi stadium on time due to its African commitments, underlined the FRMF in a press release published on its website on Saturday.
This decision comes from the fact that the competition in which RCA participated, namely the Mohammed VI Cup of champion clubs, falls under the category of international competitions in accordance with article 16 of the law governing competitions, the press release said.
In addition, RCA’s participation in an international match in Algeria against Mouloudia d’Alger took place on January 4 (8 p.m. local time), while the match between the Casablanca club and the DHJ was scheduled for January 7 (7 p.m. ), or on a date that does not take into account the interval of three (minimum) clear days at least after the date of a match in an international competition, provided for in article 21, added the same source.
RCA had refused to face the DHJ on January 7, on the grounds that the club had to face in Algeria the Mouloudia of Algiers, on the 4th of the same month, on behalf of the first leg match of the quarter-finals of the Mohammed VI Cup of champion clubs, and the Jeunesse sportive de Kabylie, on January 10, on behalf of the 4th day of group D of the Champions League.
