Wuilker Farinez is already on French soil. The Venezuelan goalkeeper was transferred from the Millonarios de Colombia team to Lens, which participates in Ligue 1, the first division soccer tournament in France.
Lens’s official Twitter account posted a photo of Farinez, reporting that his landing was successful.

Likewise, Romain Nadal, French ambassador to Venezuela, welcomed the Venezuelan footballer and wished him the best in this new stage of his sports career. “Dear Wuilker, I wish you all the best and many successes in your sports and human career in France. Feel at home and with your family! ”Wrote the diplomat on his Twitter account.

In June, the Millonarios de Colombia team, in which the Venezuelan has played since January 2018, announced that the Venezuelan was transferred to Lens as a loan with a purchase option.
Farinez will join the French team from this July.
Former soccer player Gabriel Chichero, who played for Lens, expressed his satisfaction at Farinez’s arrival. “Say hello to those fans who supported me through my most difficult times,” he wrote on Twitter.
