Cologne (SID) – The happy end of the dream marriage was denied, but Sebastian Vettel does not sink into self-pity in view of the upcoming separation from Ferrari. “It is the end of a love story that was a little happy and a little unhappy,” said the four-time Formula 1 world champion of the Roman daily La Repubblica: “But I look ahead: I have a job that I will finish got to.”

After all, he still had “a job to do at Ferrari”, which was “the least I can do for this team, which has always worked very hard to help me,” said the 33-year-old. He is also not the person who “mourns and looks back. When things come to an end, they just come to an end.”
With regard to his future, he has not yet made a decision, said Vettel: “I still don’t know what I will do, maybe I will return to school.” However, he feels absolutely physically and mentally competitive: “Maybe I’ll know more in two weeks, but I’m in no hurry.”
So far, he had mainly lacked time for the family. “You’d like to have more time with three children, but I don’t think I’m the only person on this planet who struggles with the fact that the day is only 24 hours long,” said Vettel.
