The National Railways Office (ONCF) announced on Thursday the launch, from Monday July 27, of a special transport plan to support, in the best conditions of health safety and comfort, the movements of travelers during Aid Al Adha and summer periods.
As part of the Office’s adaptation to changes in demand, this plan includes the programming, in addition to regular trains, of additional trains, particularly on the most heavily used routes, and the strengthening of the teams in charge of he reception and orientation of travelers in stations and on board trains, indicates a press release from the ONCF.
The Office recalls that train movements will be carried out in strict compliance with health security measures and while complying with the recommendations of the authorities, in particular the compulsory wearing of a mask, respect for social distancing in stations and on board trains. trains, cleaning and disinfection of trains and spaces in stations, provision of hydro-alcoholic gel in stations and on board trains, etc.
In addition, and to support both individual and group trips (up to 5 travelers), the ONCF is launching a “new” card offering an unlimited number of trips with an “exceptional” reduction of 50% on ‘Al Atlas’ and 30% on ‘Al Boraq’ trains (excluding local routes), announces the Office.
Marketed at the attractive price of 199 Dh, and with a validity of one (1) month, “this card offers the opportunity to discover and explore the riches that conceal the regions of our Kingdom served by the train and invites you to go to ‘adventure at a very advantageous price’, adds the same source.
