Apple Plans: Look Around escapes to Japan

To our knowledge, this is the first time that Look Around has left American borders. The function, equivalent to Street View (Google Maps) for Apple Maps, has appeared in several cities in Japan: Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya present the small icon in the form of binoculars, which allows you to immerse yourself as closely as possible from the street.

Look Around is definitely worth a look, with its felt 3D effects. All that remains is to offer it elsewhere in the world, but the pace of deployment is very slow. The profusion of Apple Maps vehicles that have been crisscrossing France for a few weeks gives us hope that we will be entitled to them soon (read: Apple Maps cars are making their tour of France).
