On the rock of Monaco, the whole family knows how to cultivate discretion. Since the beginning of their love affair, the couple has opted for modesty and generally only speaks to defend charities or to evoke their good deeds. Asked by Point of view, Princess Charlene of Monaco, for example, mentioned her intention to prevent the general public from the dangers linked to aquatic environments and, in particular, to warn of the risks of drowning. In the columns of the magazine, she had also delivered certain confidences on her educational values: “For me, the family is the first of schools and nature is an educational environment in itself. I think that here, in Corsica, children feel a great freedom. (…) When I was a child, everyday life and the pace of life in South Africa were very different – in summer, for example, 6 or 7 p.m., the sun had already set. Jacques and Gabriella have plenty of energy, like all children they are happy to be able to enjoy its light until late in the day.“.
A source of “fulfillment”
Prince Albert II’s wife then added: “Jacques and Gabriella have so many opportunities available to them. They have traveled the world since they were born, they have already been in contact with many cultures, everything around them has always been a source of learning and development. Each day passed their side is exciting.”
