The nineteen-year-old Davis Cup representative managed the duel of generations. He hurried them twenty years older. During the semifinal, lasting an hour and 23 minutes, Forejtek took the opponent’s service four times. He did not hold the serve once, but turned a 1: 3 loss in the second set five gambles in a row.
On Sunday, Forejtek will play for the title against Michael Vrbenský, who today defeated Pavel Nejedlý 6: 2, 5: 7 and 6: 4 at the Svijany Open tournament.
Vidman is in the finals
Only 17-year-old Darja Viďmanova and Veronika Vlkovska, who is five years older, will reach the women’s finals.
In a three-hundred-dollar match with Anna Siskova, Vlkovska deflected four match points, the finalist of the previous Prostějov tournament, Viďmanova, also managed a drama against former eight-finalist of Wimbledon Tereza Smitkova (6: 3, 5: 7 and 7: 5).
