The Vancouver Canucks orchestrated a winning comeback, winning 5-4 in overtime against the Minnesota Wild, who were eliminated from the qualifying round. The British Columbia team bagged the series 3-1.
It was defenseman Chris Tanev who netted the winning goal for Travis Green’s squad, who won the first series of his coaching career.

Bo Horvat completed his night of work with three points, including two assists and the goal that forced the overtime.
Forward Tanner Pearson and young fullback Quinn Hughes both collected a net and an assist.
Joel Eriksson Ek gave the Wild a 3-1 lead in the second.
Brandon Sutter and Hughes replied to level the score in the second, but Nico Sturm gave his team a one-goal lead before the second intermission.
Tanev shook the ropes in the 11th second of the extra period, using a shot from the fulcrum.
Goalkeeper Jacob Markstrom blocked 25 shots in a winning case.
On the other side, Alex Stalock gave in five times out of 31 shots.
