The hosting of the Chilean footballer Alexis Sanchez from Manchester United in Inter Milan was changed into a transfer. In the second team of Serie A, the 31-year-old striker signed a three-year contract. Giuseppe Marotta, Inter’s sports director, told the Italian media in advance, and everything was officially confirmed today.
Sanchez came to San Siro before last season after two years in Manchester, where he did not make much of an impact. Prior to that, the two-time winner of the South American Championship worked in Udine, Barcelona and Arsenal. He played 22 matches in the league’s black and blue Inter jersey and scored four goals.
In Wednesday’s round of 16 in the European League against Getafe (2: 0), Sanchez played the last 20 minutes. Thanks to the new contract, the Chilean national record holder can defend the colors of Inter in the number of starts (132) and goals (43) even in the final fights, which will take place in a single round in Germany.
