Last day, five people needed the help of rescuers to get out of the forest, informs the State Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS).
The service received two calls to help get out of the forest. Rescuing the sound of the tank truck and communicating by mobile phone, the rescuers indicated the direction and three lost people came out of the forest in Kandava region, but two people in Talsi region.
In order to ensure that leaving and staying in the forest does not end in getting lost, a serious fright or even endangering health and life, SFRS calls on the residents to take care of their safety before going to the forest. If it is not possible to get out of the forest on your own, rescuers should be called 112 and the most specific landmarks should be named.
