The president affirmed that 8,400,000 homes have been located that have the characteristics to receive this economic support in a second opportunity
The president of the Republic, Martin Vizcarra, announced that a second bono of 760 soles will begin to be delivered in the first week of October of this year.
The president affirmed that there is already a “final register”, where 8,400,000 homes have been located that “have the necessary characteristics to receive this economic support in a second opportunity.” “Those who received more some additional homes that were not included,” said Vizcarra.
“The schedule tells us that in this month of September all the administrative procedures finish and the second bond, a commitment that I assume with those 8,400,000, will begin to be delivered in the first week of October,” said the president.
The head of state assured that this bond is “an investment of more than 6 billion soles that will reach the most needy households throughout Peru as an aid, while work continues to reactivate the economy.
He also referred that the bond has already been delivered to 7 and a half million households, but the 760 soles have not been enough due to the length of the quarantine. “If it had been the quarantine one, two, three months it would be fine, but six months of quarantine people require a second bonus,” he added.
