#As of #December 30, according to the latest official update of all cases associated with COVID-19, hospital occupancy in #Mexico #City is at 83%, which translates into 5,793 people hospitalized and 6,959 spaces available.

#According to the official CDMX government hospital site, #Of the 86 hospitals enabled to care for COVID-19 patients, 27 remain with capacity. #And of these, only 11 centers have beds in the #Intensive #Care #Unit and 22 have general beds.

#On general beds, it was reported that the capital of the country has the highest occupancy with 89%, followed by the #State of #Mexico with 79%; #Guanajuato with 74% and #Baja #California with 73%.

#Also, l#Mexico #City tops the list with occupancy of beds for the most critical patients with 85%; then #State of #Mexico with 76% and #Baja #California with 61%.

#It should be remembered that on previous dates, the head of government of CDMX, #Claudia #Sheinbaum, along with #Alfredo del #Mazo -governor of EDOMEX- and the undersecretary #Hugo #Lopez-Gatell announced the change of the traffic light to red in both states, due to the increase in infections by COVID-19.
