The victory went to the Eastern starter Nabil Crismatt (2-0, 0.00) who pitched 5 scoreless innings of 2 hits, a walk and 3 strikeouts. Luis Santos (0-1, 13.50) took the loss after allowing 2 hits and 4 runs, one of them earned, in two-thirds of an inning in which he gave up 2 hits and a walk, at the rate he struck out two.
