Users rejected sudden price increase on Simple TV plans

The subscription television company Simple TV announced this Friday, November 27, a price increase in bolivars for two of its plans, even though it has not yet formally started charging for the service to its registered clients.

The measure taken by the cable operator that will replace the DirecTV signal affects its cheaper plans, with an increase of 99.86% in its Basic plan, which will now cost 1,073,586.83 bolivars, while the Byte plan had an increase of 37.93%, so it remained at 4,294,347.33 bolivars.

The announcement caused annoyance to users, who through social networks expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that the company increased its prices without even having started to fully operate, since the collection of its different plans is scheduled from the next December 15.

«The white-collar criminals of satellite TV have not started to collect and they have already increased the 4 plans with anesthesia because the dollar increased. Then they will increase their TV plans every week, or every fortnight, every time the dollar rises », commented a user identified with the account @ IJSM_1980.

In the same way, users questioned the fact that almost three weeks before starting the billing of the service, Simple TV has not yet made any announcement about which channels will make up the grid of each plan. Some called the little information about the company a lack of transparency.
