Four Chicago Bulls players drop due to COVID-19 protocol


WASHINGTON – #Four #Chicago #Bulls players are on NBA health and safety protocol and will not be available for #Thursday’s game with the #Washington #Wizards.

#Forwards #Lauri #Markkanen, the team’s second leading scorer and top rebounder, and #Chandler #Hutchison and guards #Ryan #Arcidiacono and #Tomas #Satoransky have been ruled out.

“#You have to stay flexible,” #Chicago coach #Billy #Donovan said. “A lot of different things can happen. #You have to be able to handle them. #Obviously, there are a lot of things to digest and deal with in this game.”

The #Bulls play in #Milwaukee on #Friday night, and #Donovan hopes his team will be down again.

“I guess so, he’s going to continue here for a period of time,” #Donovan said. “#How long, I’m really not sure about that. I think the daily tests help clarify where the guys are. I don’t know how long it will be, but I think it will be some time.”

#Markkanen was already in doubt for the match with a left calf injury.
