For the arrival of the plane, the Secretary of Foreign Relations, Marcelo Ebrard, the Secretary of Health, Jorge Alcocer, as well as personnel from the Secretary of the Navy who will be in charge of safeguarding the doses are present.
This shipment is intended for the vaccination of medical personnel in Mexico City and the state of Coahuila. Of the 53 thousand doses that land today, 44 thousand 850 will remain in the capital of the country while 8 thousand 755 will go to the northern state of the country to continue the vaccination process.
This is the last small shipment to arrive in the country, since as of January 12 the shipments will be 460,800 doses. By the end of the month, as stated by the Chief Executive, there will be enough vaccines for all medical and health personnel in the country who attend Covid Hospitals.
The planes will arrive at the Monterrey, Nuevo León airport to start their way to their final destinations.
