According to media reports, Borussia Dortmund has a buyback option for striker Alexander Isak. However, according to a Spanish media report, this will also be significantly higher than expected this summer. All news and rumors about BVB at a glance.
BVB: buyback clause from Isak probably much higher
A possible return campaign by Alexander Isak could be a more expensive pleasure than expected for Borussia Dortmund next summer. How Mundo Deportivo reports, the exit clause in the contract of 70 million euros should not only apply to other clubs, but also to BVB.
Previously, German and Spanish media had reported that BVB had a right of first refusal this summer and that the transfer fee was only 30 million euros. However, according to Mundo, this sum only applies if BVB wants to get the Swedish striker back in summer 2021.
Isak had loaned the Black and Yellow team to Willem II two years ago in winter before the 20-year-old moved to Real Sociedad in the summer. The Basques transferred eight million euros to BVB.
Isak has been convincing with strong performances in the Primera Division for several weeks. He has scored twelve times in the last 13 competitive matches. In the quarter-finals of the Copa del Rey, the Swede also promoted Real Madrid with a double pack from the competition.
