While Kylian Mbappe had passed a coronavirus test before the match against Dortmund, his lawyer explained that he had not benefited from a free pass.

The investigative media Mediapart conducted the investigation to find out if there are any legal privileges for certain personalities tested for the coronavirus without having symptoms. Kylian Mbappe’s lawyer, Me Delphine Verheyden, was asked about this. She said the Paris striker had no symptoms when he underwent a test just before the knockout stages of the Champions League return against Borussia Dortmund.

Mbappe has not received preferential treatment according to his lawyer

The lawyer also specifies that it was the PSG medical staff who requested the test for his client. “I do not at all believe that he thought he was receiving preferential treatment. (…) He simply submitted to the treatments and exams prescribed by the medical service of his club. ”
