The organizers of the Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon have scheduled a crisis session for next week. They should decide whether the event will take place as planned from June 29.
As they write in a press release, the organizers have been working with the authorities since January for a rescue plan.
The only option they refuse is closed-door matches. They are studying a possible postponement, even an outright cancellation. But to maintain the quality of the turf, the organizers only have a short shooting window.
