Leipzig sports director Markus Krosche sees ghost games as the only way to finish the season.
In an effort to finish the season in the German soccer Bundesliga, RB Leipzig’s sports director Markus Krosche would be left empty. “Ghost games are not nice, but – as of today and probably also in May – cannot be prevented,” said the 39-year-old in an interview with the “Leipziger Volkszeitung”.
All major European leagues have the goal of ending the season. “In this context, whether with or without a spectator is exceptionally secondary,” emphasized Krosche. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Bundesliga should not be played at least until April 30th on the recommendation of the German Football League. However, this still has to be decided by the general meeting of the 36 clubs of the 1st and 2nd league on March 31
