After chase in Chemnitz: car ends upside down in the Kappelbach

A 44-year-old has landed after a chase with the police in Chemnitz in a stream. The police said the 44-year-old ignored a police check during the night and accelerated. On his flight he rammed a parked car, broke through a bridge railing and stayed on the roof in the Kappelbach.

Police officers took the injured driver out of the vehicle and the fire department was alerted to the rescue. The man suffered minor injuries. He was under the influence of drugs and had no driver's license. He was not the owner of the car. This was tendered for a theft in Meissen to the search.
