Antwerp narrowly won at home against Club Brugge – All football

The Great Old has managed to reverse the course of play on a Simon Mignolet autobut.

One of the big duels of this Sunday in Pro League pitted Antwerp against Club Brugge.

Siebe Schrijvers scored the first goal of the game for visitors on a decisive pass from Percy Tau.

The match was interrupted for ten minutes just before the end of the first half. The referee of the game had sent everyone back to the locker room after the beer line judge had thrown a beer after giving a foul in favor of the Club following a rough tackle from De Laet on Tau.

At the end of the locker room, Dieumerci Mbokani launched perfectly the second half of Antwerp by bringing the two teams tied on penalty.

At the hour of play, Laszlo BOlOni's men took the lead over a Simon Mignolet autogalal. The score did not change during the last half hour of the match.

In the general classification, the Bruggees remain first (at six points of the Standard and one match less) while the Antwerp (also with one less match) temporarily takes the 5th place of Mechelen who moves to the Rouches Sunday night ( 20h).
