Arsenal, meanwhile, have not won a Premier League game since beating Bournemouth 1-0 on 6 October. The gap to the top is 14 points. After the disappointing performance, pressure is mounting on coach Unai Emery, who has not called Xhaka for the third time in a row and taken away his captain's armband. According to Emery, the Basler himself should have asked for a creative break.

In pouring rain, Leicester and Arsenal delivered quite a fun and offensive led game. The hosts were the better team in the first half, but missed the lead. In the second half, the hosts had bad luck, as Wilfred Ndidi shot the ball on the crossbar. A little later, a hit by new London captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not count because of an offside position.

Chelsea is also in motion

Chelsea's great talent Tammy Abraham and former Christian Pulisic from Dortmund met after the break for the superior blues to celebrate their sixth consecutive victory in the Premier League. The team of Frank Lampard, like Leicester, are five points behind Leader Liverpool. The league leaders will receive title defender Manchester City tomorrow in the top flight.

Not at will Tottenham. The Spurs came home at the so far surprising Sheffield United not a meager 1: 1 out. Newcastle, without the injured Fabian Schar, scored an important 2-1 home win against Bournemouth. In the 0-3 defeat in Burnley the striker Albian Ajeti was allowed from the 64th minute on the field. The former Basel remained ineffective.
