Bayern have the hit of the German Bundesliga in a sovereign manner decided for themselves. The defending champion celebrated a well-deserved 4-0 victory against Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, scoring the second success in the second match under interim coach Hansi Flick and moving into third in the table. Second is RB Leipzig, who won 4-2 at Hertha BSC.

Robert Lewandowski's (17., 76.) and Serge Gnabry (47.) and an own goal by former Bayern professional Mats Hummels (80th) sealed the debacle of BVB, who slipped to fifth place. David Alaba played in the central defense and made a strong showing.

The lead for the Munich got Lewandowski head to cross from Benjamin Pavard. The Pole has met with it in all previous league season games. Shortly after the break Gnabry put in a quick counterattack after submission by Thomas Muller. Muller also prepared the 3: 0 by Lewandowski exemplary before. The fourth goal went to the completely overburdened Dortmunder itself – Hummels spiked a Stanglpass the substitute Ivan Perisic into his own goal.

RB Leipzig also celebrated a 4-2 away win over Hertha BSC thanks to a goal from Marcel Sabitzer and moved up to second. Maximilian Mittelstadt (32) defeated Leipzig in Berlin, Timo Werner scored the equalizer in the 38th minute from a penalty spot. Sabitzer brought the Leipzig with a deflected shot just before the break, for clear conditions in favor of the guests made Kevin Kampl in the 86th minute and Werner in the 91st minute after optimal preparation by Konrad Laimer. The Salzburg played as Sabitzer, Stefan Ilsanker was exchanged at Leipzig in the 54th minute.

There was also a sense of achievement for another OFB team player: Christopher Trimmel prepared all three goals of the "Eiserne" in the 3: 2 away from Union Berlin against FSV Mainz 05. The 61st-minute substitute Karim Onisiwo scored the hosts' first goal (81) and prepared the second by Daniel Brosinski (93) before, to one point, it was enough for the Mainz but not more.

Michael Gregoritsch saw the 1-0 from Augsburg in Paderborn only from the substitute bench, as well as Guido Burgstaller Schalke's home 3: 3 against Dusseldorf. The hosts exchanged Alessandro SchOpf in the 75th minute.
