The year 2019 was far from being a great success for Christopher Froome. Since last June and the recognition of the 4th stage of Dauphine, the English cyclist is absent. He had heavily hit a wall in a descent which resulted in multiple fractures (femur, hip and ribs). This Friday, the 34-year-old British rider went on billiards. During this operation, he was removed a metal plate that had been put to him to consolidate his right hip. This Saturday, the four-time winner of the Tour de France posted a snapshot of this famous metal plate. The photo is impressive and accompanied by the following comment: "Little memory of the Dauphine 2019"!
