Chiefs did not activate LeSean McCoy despite being healthy

NASHVILLE – LeSean McCoy, the leading Kansas City Chiefs runner, was not activated for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.

McCoy has fallen out of favor with the Chiefs for various reasons. The team was worried earlier this season about McCoy's understanding of his pass protection assignments. His style of carrying the ball has caused crucial loose balls.

The team's starting runner at the start of the season, Damien Williams, is finally healthy and playing well. He ran for 125 yards last week against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Chiefs also have a rookie runner, Darwin Thompson, whom they want to include in the game rotation. Thompson has played little this season.

McCoy only participated in six plays in the game last week.
