Chiefs vs. Titans – Game Report – November 10, 2019

NASHVILLE (AP) – Ryan Tannehill threw a 23-yard scoring pass to Adam Humphries, with 23 seconds left to play, and the Tennessee Titans hit the bell to beat the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday 35-32.

The Titans blocked a field goal attempt at the last moment, to ruin the return of Patrick Mahomes with the Chiefs.

Tennessee (5-5) only had the opportunity to take the lead after a bad center for the Chiefs in what was Harrison Butker's fifth field goal attempt on the day. That center took Dustin Colquitt off guard, in charge of placing the ball.

Colquitt ended up throwing him off the field, which merited a penalty for an improperly thrown pass. Consequently, the Titans got the ball in their 39 yard.

Tannehill achieved an 18-yard haul, completed a 20-shipment with Anthony Firsker and found Humphries, who ran with the ovoid to the diagonals.

Also, Tannehill made a carry for the conversion of 2 points, which placed the score at 35-32.

The Chiefs (6-4) had one last chance with Mahomes, the Most Valuable Player of the previous campaign, who returned to the activity after a kneecap dislocation. The quarterback led a breakthrough that left the scene ready for Butker to try another 52-yard field goal.

Joshua Kalu blocked the kick with his left hand and the Titans began celebrating the unexpected triumph.
