Clap for Nuremberg in the first game after Canadi-term

Nuremberg – At the 1. FC Nuremberg after the separation from the Viennese Damir Canadi a coaching effect did not occur. In the first game under interim coach Marek Mintal in the second German Bundesliga the Franks slipped at home against the new leaders Arminia Bielefeld in a 1: 5 debacle. With Manuel Prietl, only one Austrian was in action at the winners.

Lukas Jager and Nikola Dovedan sat on the bench near Nuremberg, Georg Margreitter and Andreas Lukse were injured. While Margreitter will be back soon, the ex-Altach goalie has a long break ahead. The 32-year-old suffered a hamstring in his left thigh in Thursday practice and has to pause for six weeks. This aggravated the Nuremberg goalie problem. Rootkeeper Christian Mathenia is in the rehab after a patellar fracture, Patric Klandt (Achilles tendon tear) and Jonas Wendlinger (pubic bone inflammation) missing longer term.

The 14th Nuremberg is now five games without a win, of the recent ten competitive matches only one could be won. Bielefeld started in Nuremberg furious and needed only a few minutes to 3-0 lead. Jonathan Clauss (10th), Andreas Voglsammer (13th) and Fabian Klos (15th) revealed the deficits of the Nurnberger already in the first quarter of an hour. In the second section Asger SOrensen (59) met for the "club", but Klos (60) and the ex-Salzburg Reinhold Yabo (73) were then again successful for the Arminia.

Heidenheim remained fully in the ascent race. With Konstantin Kerschbaumer Hannover was defeated 4-0, the league fourth missing only three points to the third VfB Stuttgart, Bielefeld is eight points away. (APA)
