Cuba denounces the coup d'etat that is brewing in Bolivia against Evo Morales


The president of Cuba, Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez, denounced through his Twitter account the coup d'etat that is taking place in Bolivia against the legitimate president of Bolivia Evo Morales Ayma.

“Brother President @evoespueblo, the Cuban people are by your side against violence and the coup d'etat. We strongly denounce the coup attempt ”This is the literal message that the Cuban president sends to Evo Morales, the Bolivian people and the world.

At this time, President Evo Morales summons patriots and social movements to defend democracy, in a peaceful march to preserve life and for unity.

"I ask the patriots, the people who historically recovered democracy, social movements, personalities, to mobilize to defend democracy, homeland and above all life, to defend the vote of October 20," said the President in a press conference from the city of El Alto.

Morales announced to the Bolivian people and the entire world that a coup d'etat is under way against a democratically elected government and added that the actions are also against the social, working, and humble movements, “who have built together a democratic and cultural revolution” .
