Borussia MOnchengladbach has consolidated the league lead in the Bundesliga. Werder Bremen won 3-1 (2-0) at home on Sunday and are now four points ahead of pursuers RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich.
Borussia MOnchengladbach is gradually becoming a title candidate in the Bundesliga with inspiring power football.
The leader won 64 hours after the exhausting victory in the Europa League against AS Roma also his fourth league home game in a row and was able to lead the standings by 3-1 (2-0) against Werder Bremen with 25 points in front of RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich (both 21) even expand.
The Bremen, however, fell back to 14th after seven winless games in a row.
Gladbach finished the game at tenth
