F1 debut 2020 for Schumi jr. "unfortunately not realistic" – Formula1

Mick Schumacher, the 20-year-old son of Michael Schumacher, has a big dream: to drive like his father in Formula One. But he knows himself that he has to be patient.

Mick Schumacher does not believe that he will make his debut in Formula 1 next season. "If I got the chance, I would take it," said the 20-year-old at the sports press ball in Frankfurt. "But unfortunately, it does not look realistic to go to Formula One next year." Currently, the son of Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher (seven world titles) starts in the junior series Formula 2, where he experienced a very mixed year so far.

"It was not an easy season, but you learn from setbacks, you grow and I've learned never to give up," says Schumacher, who won the sprint race in Hungarian but is only in the disappointing eleventh place overall. "That gives me strength to hopefully win more titles and titles in the coming years."
