A manager of a sportswear shop was dismissed in Belgium after making discriminatory remarks two weeks ago to her employees reports the RTBF.
A video in which we see her apologize and explain on his words has made the rounds of social networks. She admits to them that she used inappropriate language to describe them.
While this manager wants to search his employees to find out if they stole something, she proposed to make a line for "Arabs", another for "Gweres" (whites) and another for "macaques" (black people). In the video, in front of shocked employees and wishing explanations, she acknowledged the use of these terms while apologizing.
Since the dissemination of these images, the store in question has been the target of looting, including Tuesday, November 5. Another shop of the same name was looted in Brussels. The Mayor of Liege has even called for calm and dignity.
For its part, the brand "JD Sports" has disengaged from its manager. "We can not tolerate any discrimination whatsoever." The manager concerned left the company, "responded the sign in a statement posted on his Facebook page.
The manager, dismissed, was arrested Friday and heard for three hours by the police.
