Liverpool vs Manchester CityFabinho opened the scoring after six minutes
After just six minutes, Fabinho collected the ball in space 30 yards out and sent a rocket beyond Claudio Bravo, who was filling in for the injured Ederson in goal.
Seven minutes later, Liverpool doubled their lead as Andrew Robertson crossed in to Mohamed Salah to add a second goal.
Manchester City got their foot back into the game, but it was Sadio Mane who put it to bed with another back-post header, this time from Jordan Henderson’s cross.
Bernardo Silva pulled one back for the Citizens, but it was too little too late for a frustrated Pep Guardiola, who could only watch his side drift further afield at the top of the Premier League.
