The German streamer Marcel "MontanaBlack" Eris was the number 2 worldwide in September 2019 at Twitch after the most watched hours. He dropped out of the top 10 in October, helped by a twitch spell. In addition, he renounced the transfer of gambling and devoted himself again Fortnite and FIFA 20.
So the numbers have changed:
MontanaBlack streamed 44% less and had an average of 40% fewer viewers. As a result, he lost 66% of the hours seen – which means that he fell far short of the top 10.
Twitch spell after Ausraster at FIFA 20
Why was not MontanaBlack so fluid? The lower number of hours of MontanaBlack was not self-chosen, but was due to a twitch spell.
According to their own statements, MontanaBlack was on a discord server, in a voice chat, and was terribly excited about FIFA 20: he said words he should not use on Twitch. However, he also did not think that he could be heard live on Twitch.
But a "colleague of mine", who was streaming on Twitch, did that without his knowledge and so his forbidden words went live.
MontanaBlack then received a 7-day ban on Twitch, with whom he was not terribly happy. MontanaBlack even hinted at maybe switching to blender.
No more gambling, but Fortnite, FIFA, Call of Duty
What did he stream? The "stream diet" of MontanaBlack has changed a bit. In September 2019, he had an average of most viewers when he played "slots". These are gambling on Twitch, about blackjack for money. There were on average 65,607 people watching him. MontanaBlack is considered a "high roller", as someone who plays for relatively much money.
But in October, MontanaBlack has not dedicated itself to the slots. His most successful game is now Fortnite again. He played 12 hours, he watched an average of 40,000 spectators. (Via sullygnome)
Most of the time MontanaBlack played on Twitch but FIFA 20 – there saw him "only" 25,300 people on average. Here are some great scenes in which MontanaBlack buys card packs and hopes for top players:
How To Define Top Streamer On Twitch? The top streamers are the "most viewed hours" of individual channel channels on Twitch. Since the channels of companies are calculated out.
In October 2019, for example, the Twitch channel Riot Games was incredibly active and successful due to the LoL World Cup. But you do not count as a company in the determination of the "Top Streamer" into it. This makes the WoW streamer Asmongold the No. 1 for the third month in a row.
The WoW hype on Twitch is over – but Asmongold remains at 1
