In recent days, the authorities have discovered packages filled with drugs on the beaches of the Atlantic coast. Filled with cocaine, they are flocking day by day on the coast: they represent a "health risk" according to the authorities.
Amazing discovery on the Atlantic coast. The National Gendarmerie has come face to face with … cocaine breads. Small packets have failed on the beaches vendeennes: according to the local newspaper Sud-Ouest, a "first bread of a kilo" was found October 18 in Saint-Jean-de-Monts (Vendee). A second package was found in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez on October 26th.
And then the find, November 5 last: multiple packages have been discovered further north, La Bernerie-en-Retz and Moutiers-en-Retz (Loire-Atlantique). According to the Sud-Ouest newspaper, 30 kg of cocaine were discovered in the Bayonne-Tarnos-Capbreton-Seignosse sector; 73 kg in the Biscarrosse – Cap Ferret sector, 5 kg in Biarritz (Pyrenees-Atlantiques), and 6 kg in Tremblade (Charente-Maritime).
"Brilliant" or "Diamante"
According to Le Figaro, these "breads" include labels on which are inscribed the words "Brillante" or "Diamante". According to the investigators, this could be a "quality criterion". The Criminal Investigation Institute of the National Gendarmerie (IRCGN) analyzed the first packets found: in Saint-Jean-de-Mont, the "bread" consisted of 83% pure cocaine, without cutting products. According to the authorities, the latter therefore represent a definite risk to health.
Contacted by the newspaper Ouest-France, the parquet of Sables-d'Olonne did not wish to give more information on the possible origin of these packages.
