National team without Marco Reus against Belarus and Northern Ireland

Marco Reus has to cancel the upcoming internationals with the DFB team against Belarus (November 16) and Northern Ireland (November 19).

As Reus' club Borussia Dortmund tweeted, the offensive players are still plagued with ankle problems.

"Marco has informed Joachim LOw that he will not be traveling to the DFB team and will be working in Dortmund with the medical department of BVB on his recovery," said the BVB.

Stark also threatens failure

Reus came on as a substitute on Saturday at 0: 4 at Bayern after 61 minutes, before he had missed a few games of Dortmund. Whether coach LOw nominated a replacement for the BVB captain, is still open.

In addition to Reus LOw must probably also do without Niklas Stark, who suffered a broken nose on Saturday in a 2-4 by Hertha BSC against RB Leipzig.

Havertz with thigh problems

On Sunday it caught the next national player. Kai Havertz had to be replaced injured in the first half at Bayer Leverkusen's away game against VfL Wolfsburg.

The 20-year-old grabbed for a Laufduell to the rear thigh.

LOw wants continuity

This would make LOw 21 international players available. Because of or after injuries, he had to abstain in the nomination on defensive chief Niklas Sule, Leroy Sane, Rio World Champion Julian Draxler, Antonio Rudiger, Thilo Kehrer, Marcel Halstenberg and goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

"Especially in the upheaval you need a certain continuity," said Loew already at the appointment of his squad for the financial statements, "that was not possible because of the many injuries, we could hardly bring in."

He would have wished "that we would be further in the development of this young team," he added. At the finish final Loew did not want to shake though. The ticket for the EURO can already solve its selection against Belarus.
