Paris goalkeeper Keylor Navas is out of action for at least ten days due to an adductor injury, the Costa Rican Football Federation said on Sunday.
These pains, which had deprived him of the match of Ligue 1 in Brest (2-1) Saturday, also forced him to forfeit the next two appointments of his selection against Curacao and Haiti, scheduled for 15 and November 18.
The titular doorman suffers from "a minor lesion of the small adductor that requires at least ten days of care," says the statement.
Since recruiting from Real Madrid at the very end of the summer transfer window, Navas has played every game of his team, quickly becoming one of his executives. He was particularly decisive in stopping a penalty against Bruges (1-0) in the Champions League.
This injury is bad news for PSG, which has to deal with a busy infirmary, between the absences of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Meunier and Ander Herrera. But the first two are expected after the international truce, against Lille on November 22.
In case of prolonged absence of Navas, it is the Spaniard Sergio Rico, also recruited this summer, who must occupy the position of guardian.
