Sunday, November 10, 2019, around 6 pm, near the town of Plelo (Côtes-d'Armor), west of Saint-Brieuc, a motorist wanted to escape a roadside check. His race ended against a median. Three men tried to flee on foot. Two passengers were injured.
On the night of Saturday to Sunday, November 10, the soldiers of the Departmental Road Safety Squadron (EDSR) carried out roadside checks, near the interchange La Braguette, on the RN12, Plelo.
Around 6 am, a motorist, along with four other people on board, refuses to stop. The latter fled forcing the police to make use of a harrow stop stick. With three tires punctured, the car ends its race against a platform. Three of the occupants fled before being found by the gendarmes.
Two female passengers aged 19 and 20 were injured. They were taken to the hospital center of Saint-Brieuc. All the protagonists, Finistere, were heard by the gendarmes. The driver, who was under the influence of alcohol, will be summoned as part of a criminal investigation.
