Elisbet: seventh in closing of the Swimming World Cup

Havana, Nov 10 (JIT) Cuban Elisbet Gamez was seventh in the final of the 800 meters freestyle on the closing day of the last phase of the Swimming World Cup, held in Doha, Qatar.

The girl recorded 8: 51.85 minutes in an event dominated by Tjasa Oder, from Slovenia, with 8: 34.65, and who was escorted on the podium by the Japanese Yumiki Moriyama (8: 37.25) and the Austrian Marlene Kahler (8: 37.79).
