Record: Cristian Dajome first Colombian player to win Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana and Recopa Sudamericana de Conmebol | Colombians Abroad

This Saturday Independiente del Valle was crowned champion of the South American Cup in a single match against Colon de Santa Fe, with a score of 3-1, in which Fernando Leon, Jhon Sanchez and Cristian Dajome scored, who scored the goal that sealed the victory and achieved an impressive record and very difficult to obtain for a Colombian player.

Dajome managed, with the title of the South American, to become one of the Colombians who won all the tournaments organized by Conmebol since 2002, when he started playing 'the other half of the glory'. In addition to the title with Independiente del Valle, he also managed to obtain the Copa Libertadores and a Continental Cup Winners Cup, both with Atletico Nacional in 2016.

Although he did not have such relevance with the Purslane team, this time with the Ecuadorian team he managed to reach the title being one of the figures of the team, with a balance of four goals and two assists in eleven games, ten of them as a starter.

It should be noted that the other player to win all the Conmebol titles was Teofilo Gutierrez, who won the 2014 South American Cup, 2015 South American Cup Winners Cup and the Libertadores Cup, despite leaving River Plate in the quarterfinals round.

These are the Conmebol titles that Dajome has obtained:

Copa Libertadores 2016: Although he did not start in the team led by Reinaldo Rueda, Bogota managed to play a game of the continental tournament and being part of the squad, managed to add this championship to his record.

2017 South American Cup Winners Cup: after the title of Libertadores, Nacional went in search of the cup played by the winners of the continental Conmebol tournament. In this case, Cristian Dajome was not summoned in the first match but was part of the second match, entering at minute 93 by Andres Felipe Ibarguen.

South American Cup 2019: On this occasion the Colombian had a greater participation in the team, as it was one of the figures for the team led by Miguel Angel Ramirez, and achieving an unprecedented record for Colombian football.

Now Cristian Dajome can continue to expand his personal record and expand his international record, because in 2020 Independiente del Valle will play the South American Cup Winners Cup, the Sugura Bank and the Copa Libertadores from the group stage.
