Valerien Ismael does without great rotation

LASK coach Valerien Ismael made two changes compared to the great 4-1 triumph against PSV during the week. Philipp Wiesinger, who had suffered a blow in the game against the Dutch, slightly not struck in the squad. For him, Rene Renner moved into the team, which, however, acted in his usual position left in the midfield. Reinhold Ranftl moved back into the triple defense, Marvin Potzmann played right in the midfield. In addition, Joao Klauss rotated for Marko Raguz in the starting lineup of the home side.

For the guests from the Sudstadt there was only one change compared to the 0: 1 home defeat against Hartberg. Muhammed-Cham Saracevic started in place of Marcus Maier on the right wing.

One way street soccer in the Raiffeisen Arena

The tactical specification of guest coach Klaus Schmidt was already evident in the absolute beginning phase: The Admira was very deep from the first minute and was anxious not to let the offensive power of the athletes as possible to unfold. The first chance to score was still the runner-up. The far-advanced Gernot Trauner brought the leather with a smart high ball in the danger zone, where Dominik Frieser shot clear from the turn over it (10).

It also remained a game direction a goal – one-way street football, if you will. The guests from Lower Austria, however, managed to contain the concentrated offensive power of the Linzer and were on the defensive saddle. According to this, a standard situation had to remedy the situation: Goiginger fired for a free-kick trick from 25 meters down the right corner, but Leitner dipped heavily and prevented the gap (28).

After Peter Michorl had missed the left Kreuzeck only a short time later, the athletes took a deserved lead after half an hour: Dominik Frieser led the game device with a lot of overview further into the barrel of Goiginger, who sent the ball into the box with ease and with a tight shot into the far corner completed – 1: 0 (30th). For the native of Salzburg, it was the fifth Bundesliga goal this season. With this intermediate state, it was also the half-time break.

Brave Admira staggers the LASK at times

The guests bravely returned from the cabin to the field of the Raiffeisen-Arena. The first half-time finish in the second half was also won by the team from Lower Austria: Saracevic sent a strong hole pass to Sinan Bakis, whose shot from a good eleven meters made Alexander Schlager face no major problems (47 '). The Admira managed to make the game more open in the second half after the first half had clearly been dominated by the Liners.

In the 57th minute Kolja Pusch tried a free-kick from a good 25 meters, but put it just over. Shortly thereafter, Bakis had after Saracevic template the 1-1 equalizer on the foot, shot from about ten meters, but clearly over it (60.). The LASK were the European Cup and Cup hardships of recent weeks clearly noted. The guests tried to use this circumstance: After a parade of Schlager to the side, it was dicey, but the cross of Saracevic could handle no Admiran crucial (69).

The Admirans sensed their chance, what LASK coach Valerien Ismael did not like at all. The Frenchman was initially too fierce, which penalized Referee Weinberger with a yellow card. For the malicious applause towards the referee, the LASK coach conceded yellow-red and had to follow the final minutes from the stands. In the end, however, the hosts took the lead over time and celebrated the sixth league victory en suite.
